Legends Day 2026 – Celebrating the Orange & Black

Every club has a history.

At Meraloma Cricket Club, ours has been built over generations of players who have worn the orange and black with pride.

Legends Day is our opportunity to bring those generations back together.

On Saturday, July 11, former players, current players, families, supporters and friends of the club will gather at Connaught Park to celebrate everything that makes Meraloma special. It's a day to reconnect, share stories, enjoy great cricket and honour the people who helped shape the club we know today.

The day will feature our traditional Legends vs Current Players match, along with plenty of opportunities to catch up with teammates from years gone by, meet the next generation of Lomas, and enjoy the atmosphere around the club.

Whether you played hundreds of games or only a handful, whether you wore whites in the early days or orange and black in recent seasons, Legends Day is about one thing:

Once a Loma, always a Loma.

In the lead-up to the event, we'll also be celebrating some of the greatest teams in Meraloma history, revisiting memorable moments from past decades, and letting our members decide who deserves the title of the Greatest Meraloma Team.

We look forward to welcoming familiar faces back to Connaught Park and creating another chapter in the story of Meraloma Cricket Club.
